The Minstrels Festival is the oldest in Alsace and perpetuates the links between the lords of Ribeaupierre and the minstrels they protected. Each year, this great, authentic encounter with the Middle Ages takes place on the first Sunday in September. The theme conjures up different images of Medieval history: peasant life, castle life, domestic or fabulous animals, buildings, travel, discovery, work, trades, beliefs, fortunes and misfortunes.

This year's theme will be : The return of King Arthur

• 10h Saturday 3 September: medieval market in the media library courtyard from 10h-21h, torchlight procession at 20h30 • 9h Sunday 4 September: medieval market in the media library courtyard from 10h-19h, musical procession at 14h30, historical parade at 15h
